Dr. Geoffrey Westfall grew up in central New York state.  While growing up he had a great deal of experience, not only with dogs and cats, but also with horses and dairy cattle.  Dr. Westfall graduated from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine, at Cornell University in 1974.  After working in a large group veterinary practice in Cheshire, CT, he moved to Brooklyn, CT.
On August 1st, 1980 Dr. Westfall opened the doors to the Brooklyn Veterinary Hospital, to provide quality veterinary care to companion animals, primarily dogs and cats, with an occasional 'pocket pet' stopping in for help.
Along with the small animal practice Dr. Westfall has kept an interest in Fight Bac, a teat disinfectant product he helped develop for dairy cows and milking goats.   More than 2 million cans have been sold in the US and internationally.
Dr. Westfall has been an active participant in the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association and served as its president in 1999.
